In todays extraordinary sequel to my Mahakam Ulu adventure, I go on a Wild Journey even deeper into the vibrant world of the Dayaks, to visit The Hidden Tribe Dayak Long Gelit tribe in Long Tuyoq, East Borneo. The journey is not for the faint of heart, and requires travelling up the wild rapids, as we go up the Mahakam River. Only after 38 hours by several boats from Samarinda, I arrive in this remote and hidden village. In Long Tuyoq I learn about their traditions and way of life, as i follow them closely. Experience the warmth of their community as I become a part of their close-knit society.
